Autumn always makes me feel morose, it is the decline in the year’s cycle. Days becoming shorter, nights longer, shadows deepening, temperatures descending, dictating our daily routine. Over a period of 12 days I took pictures of the trees in my backyard, enjoying the vivid colours and realising at the end that another season is around the corner:
