Day #24
Yesterday evening, after a hard day’s work, I went to Schützenmatte, a park in Basel.
In the warmer seasons it is always packed with young families, young people playing all kind of games and old people from the senior citizen home close to it.
This summer there is another kind of attraction organised by Klaus Littmann: Skultur II inviting people to see the works of over 20 contemporary artists:
Bernhard Luginbühl
Keith Haring
George, the resident stork from the zoological garden
Johannes Brus: Horses
The next guided tour will be on October 8, 2013. Meeting point: entrance to Weiherweg. The exposition is a work in progress and runs until the end of October 2013.
Day #24 Very relaxing to enjoy walking around the park and admiring art before drinking a well deserved apéro in the restaurant Pavillon.

Lori SocialMediaDDS Hi Lori, thank you so much, I am sure that one day you will come to Basel and we will enjoy the lovely places together and create our own stories!
I am in the middle of cooking fig mustard (this batch will be rather hot!) and have not been to the porch yet. In some time …. See you there!
