Before going away on a holiday in October I received an invite to a new social network called tsu (pronounced: su as in zoo) and I thought „ok, another one, I will check it out sometimes ….“.
On my return I found that in the meantime tsu had gained momentum and everybody was speaking and raving about it.
Curiosity (and interest) piqued I joined two weeks ago. It is very easy to set up your account and whilst tsu looks like Facebook in green and has similar functions, it differs in results (and visibility!).
My profile on tsu
What is tsu all about? My friend Robby Ball gives the following definition: „tsū is a free social media payment platform. With tsū, users can monetize all social content in an exponential way due to the nature of how established social networks work and also in perpetuity since users forever tie themselves to other users vs. tying themselves to a platform. For the first time every content creator can attach their content to their social network and benefit from royalties in perpetuity. The platform has removed from the onboarding process, allowing users to invite others which ties users to each other and makes the arithmetic work. „
tsu has a great analytics feature:
Analytics as per November 9, 2014
I have gained 349 friends and 525 followers in numbers. But I am far more impressed by the way people really interact: liking, commenting and connecting on other social networks. Without promoting my own blog, my subscription numbers went up.
tsu pays content providers because they believe that we are worth IT. I am not in for the money – do we not all say this? – so far I have made 23 Cents. What I like about tsu is meeting new people who are reaching out and establishing relationships that go beyond one click.
Tsu is by invite only, if you would like to come over and check out the #TSUnation, here is the link to join: tsu.co/BCKlein

I would love to join, but I am not sure I can manage another social media account 🙂
tandysinclair Good morning, Tandy! I know what you mean, my 2Cs: create an account, start with sharing your posts (automatically share on FB and twitter at the same time) and watch the ensuing activity. I am not spending more time on social media but have shifted from FB to tsu. Why not give it a try?
Have a sunny new week and send some sunshine my way, it is raining again ….
Social media overload will soon be a medical condition I’m sure. FOMO-itis! lol x
Lucylastica2 Good morning, Lucy! LOL, I had to google FOMO, yes, this could be true for some, I do not think I suffer from it, it is more like the quest for the holy grail …
I signed up but haven’t seriously familiarized myself with it, Barbara. But the idea of having more subscribers without even promoting sure sounds attractive! ;-))
jpage.manuel Hi, Joy, yes and it also drives traffic to Pinterest and Twitter, less so on FB, this fact does not surprise me 😉
The thing is, I am spending far too much time on Social Media networks…In fact, I think that I am addicted. As for Tsu, I am not sure I get it just yet. Give it time, I say, Give it time…
JSJ2020 Not you, Muriel, you are certainly not addicted! You are doing great on tsu and I trust you have met interesting new people? Yes to give it time …
I keep forgetting about Tsu, but I do like the way it looks and works.
