It is the end of the cherry season, the memories of walks amongst the cherry trees will linger, the sun kissed smells of nature captured in numerous pictures.

      I am glad, Dana, that eating dried tart cherries help you.For myself, I can only say I like them fresh and when they are in season.

    1. @kittiewalker Thanks, Kittie, let me know what you use instead of wheat . You are so lucky in the States, you have far more substitute products for wheat. But we are slowly catching on here in Europe.

      The recipe goes well with apples, too.
