Description
The craft of “tadelakt” is a Moroccan tradition, using shell lime from the Marrakech plateau, where the original tadelakt lime can be found. The word “tadelakt” translates as “to rub in”: olive soap is rubbed in resulting in a hydrophobic lime plaster used on both the interior and exteriors of buildings. It is the traditional coating of the palaces, hammams and bathrooms of the riads (traditional hotels) in Morocco. Tadelakt has a luxurious and soft tactile touch.
They come in different sizes and colours with a lid that hides the stubs and ashes. They are ideal for outside use.
