Description
The craft of “tadelakt” is a Moroccan tradition, using shell lime from the Marrakech plateau, where the original tadelakt lime can be found. The word “tadelakt” translates as “to rub in”: olive soap is rubbed in resulting in a hydrophobic lime plaster used on both the interior and exteriors of buildings. It is the traditional coating of the palaces, hammams and bathrooms of the riads (traditional hotels) in Morocco. Tadelakt has a luxurious and soft tactile touch.
These Tadelakt dishes are lovingly decorated with metal. They are perfect to serve small bites and snacks accompanying your pre-dinner drinks: nuts, almonds or cherry tomatoes.
