A Day In The Life … Paradise
Did you know that the word paradise stems from the Hebrew word pardes and it means orchard?
This morning I went to paradise, a very earthy one, i.e. a friend’s garden to pick some grapes.
It was a foggy morning and not as wet as the last time two years ago. Actually, it was not wet at all and I enjoyed myself very much.
Picking grapes and ever so often pausing to have a look at all the autumn bounty still around:
I love this photo with its transparent wine leaves
apples in paradise
the last tomatoes of this season
true sunflower (not photoshopped)
You know me by now: I am far too honest (read: lazy) to edit my photography, WISIWYG (what I see is what you get).
the same sunflower (not photoshopped either)
Do you want another one?
Guess what? WISIWYG
More about the grapes picked tomorrow
Day #27 A few hours in paradise will give me peace for the rest of the day.
What is your paradise?
Do you like gardening and growing your own produce?
Do you eat it yourself or do you give it away?
